I just found this wine in the back of my cellar. A delicately rich Cabernet, with coffee and toasted flavors. This 2004 Kuleto Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in the mountains on the east slopes of Napa Valley near Lake Hennessey.
Pat Kuleto is a restaurateur in San Francisco with an imagination for food friendly wines. So, what shall I pair with this wine tonight? First, I am thinking Grilled Artichoke. Can you imagine how well they will go together? Next is Grilled Mushrooms. I envision both these vegetables working well with the smoke and coffee notes in the wine. And finally, a Cedar Plank Salmon. Now, I am officially hungry!
