After two weeks visiting wineries in Valle de Guadalupe, I was so happy to complete this journey at Finca La Carrodilla. I was on a mission, as you read in the beginning, to figure out what was causing the distasteful rotten flavor found in wines in this valley, so I will be able to point you in the right direction of good wines. I had many theories. And when I saw this winery’s cement floors being steam-cleaned to perfection, I realized it was the cleanliness that truly made the difference. All of the wines here, both reds and whites, were tasting beautifully."
