"It all started in 1987 when Ricardo Vega planted some wine grapes on his property and his partner Juan Manchón went to Spain to study oenology, both with a vision that Guanajuato could be an excellent wine region.
When Juan returned, they started making wine from the now six-year-old vineyards. And the wine was good. Very good. Today, these vines are mature and produce remarkably high-quality grapes. Their wines are excellent. The top-three international wine competitions have already honoured their wines with over 100 prestigious medals."
