Born in 1962, Baltasar Dürrbach learned painting as a child, with his godfather Pablo Picasso, in the workshops of the family house in the heart of the Alpilles in Provence. A stone’s throw from Les Baux-de-Provence, one of the most inspiring places on earth, Baltasar learned to paint as one learns to walk or speak.
