“Willow Creek is the wettest and coolest AVA in Paso
Robles. Agriculture began here because of the high
quantities of rainfall for dry farming prior to irrigation.
The AVA gets its name from the Willow Creek that
runs through the middle of the AVA, as well as the
willow trees that prosper along the streams and
riverbanks here. The oldest vineyard in Paso Robles
is here, the Ueberroth Vineyard, farmed by Turley
Wine Cellars as a single-vineyard wine.”
